We firmly believe that every person is
unique, and in our portraits we strive to recognize and capture that
uniqueness. Your portrait should be
yours and yours alone, and it should not look like it was produced on an
assembly line!
A portrait of an individual should tell us
something important about the person, not just what they look like. And a portrait of a family or group should
embody their relationships – it should convey the feelings and the warmth that
they share.
We find that portraits usually are best
when they are made where you are most comfortable, whether that is in your
home, in a park, at a public building or location, or someplace else that is
meaningful to you. We will consult with
you prior to your portrait session to understand your preferences and to
determine the ideal location for your photos.
We will also make sure we understand the other things that will help us
make your portraits exceptional – for example, how you wish to dress and how
you plan on sharing and displaying your photos.
After the session, we will prepare your
proofs and samples for your viewing, and we’ll also provide some suggestions
for the most attractive ways to frame and present your photos. If any retouching is desired, we will work
with you to make sure your wishes are addressed. And then we will hand craft every image you select to achieve the
ideal clarity, skin tones, and color balance.
We won’t be satisfied until you are delighted with the results!
